Seeing - fire works

Hello! Happy new year and a warm welcome 2008!

I had the most spectacular new year's eve celebration! Atop our condominium, me and my family together with my brother and his family were entertained by the swirling, popping and dancing of the fireworks that lit and painted the dark and quiet skies of Manila.

Last night, the feel, sound, odor, sight and taste of the public display of the fireworks performance was 33 times bigger and brighter! It was like i was being chased by its lights and sounds! It was definitely a sensorial enhancement experience! For a while, i couldn't decide which was more entertaining - seeing myself being surrounded by the beautiful sparkly lights or seeing my family in awe experiencing an overwhelming scene. Both were great sights to see!

Later on, i realized "seeing" sees so many angles, shapes, colors, sizes.. but one of the best sights is seeing how something works - seeing function - purpose.. then eventually use it :)
Last night i saw how fire, flames of different forms ignited and warmed the spirit in us.. it surely added to the air pollution, nonetheless, I'm so glad i saw fireworks - and how it touched my soul.
